Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree OR minimum of 48 semester hours at a regionally accredited institution of higher learning OR have successfully completed the Alabama State Board of Education approved WORKKEYS Test
  • Valid Alabama Drivers License
  • Demonstration and record of sound moral character
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of computers
  • Good attendance and work record
  • Good emotional health as required to implement a behavioral management program with students of varying ages and sizes
  • Physical health and willingness to lift and assist medically fragile students with physical disabilities for the purpose of maintaining students’ personal comfort and hygiene
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Work under the direct supervision of the classroom teacher in providing instructional support for students
  • Other duties as assigned
Length of Contract/Terms:
183 days / 7.5 hours daily

As per Board salary schedule for this position
