Principal - Mr. Doug O’Dell It is great to be a Wellborn Panther! Welcome to our school. I have been here for 8 years and am beginning my 6th as Principal. I have a B.S. in Secondary Social Sciences from Jacksonville State University and I earned my M.A. in Educational Administration from the University of Alabama. My wife Martha is the Assistant Vice-President of Nursing at Regional Medical Center. I have two children, Logan attends Snead Junior College and Lauren attends Wellborn Elementary. Panther Pride is a wonderful feeling and we are so grateful to be able to serve this community.
Assistant Principal - Mrs. Jeanna Chandler Welcome to Wellborn Elementary, home of the Panthers! Before becoming a panther, I taught at a local high school for eight years. During that time I also taught for Jacksonville State University as an Intro to Education dual enrollment teacher. I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Jacksonville State University. My husband is also employed with Calhoun County Schools as the principal of White Plains High School. We have been married fourteen years and have two wonderful daughters, Chase and Rian. |
