“Giddys Minions’ “ is the first ever book club here at White Plains High School. We meet monthly to discuss a book chosen by the club members. All club members are responsible for purchasing their own copy of the book, reading the book prior to each meeting and taking a section to create and lead the discussion for that month. There are no fees at this time to join and it is open to all WPHS students; however, students may be placed on probation for a short time if there grades fall below a 70. S. Blair currently serves as President of Giddys Minions’ and we will have elections soon to replace last years graduating Vice President and Secretary. Stay tuned for more information about our upcoming blog site where you can log on and share your ideas about reading. |
