Attended Snead State Junior College for 2 years.
Transfered to Jacksonville State University and received a B.S. Degree in Edcuation, majoring in Physical Education K-12 and Biology 7-12 in August of 1982.
Came to Weaver High School August of 1982 to teach Science. Subjects taught included: Biology, College Prep Biology, 8th grade Science, Health, Anatomy,Botany,and Physical Science.
Ms. Shipp received her master's degree in Biology and P.E. in 1986
Obtainted Educational Specialist Degree in Biology in 1990.
Received her Administrative Certification from J.S.U. in 1995.
Became Assistant Principal at Weaver High School in 1998.
Moved in to the principal's position in 2003.

I am very fortunate to be the Prinicipal of such an exceptional school. I know you are proud that your child attends a scholarly school. The faculty and staff of Weaver High are a caring, compassionate group. They focus on the educational welfare of the students, as well as the overall building of a successful, productive, and well-rounded graduate.
I would like to thank Mrs. Lynn Morrison and her Multi-Media Design class for working so diligently to create this website. They have spent many hours learning how to develop such a site and then many more hours using their talents to make it come to fruition. I encourage you to look at each section of this website on a regular basis. Our goal is to update the site frequently with important events,"proud moments of recognition", extra-curricular events, and other helpful information.
