It is with great pride and gratitude that I am returning to serve as your principal. Having myself been a student at SMS it is a unique experience to now be here as Principal. My wish for you is that you will make lasting meaningful friendships, that you strive to learn all that you can and achieve good grades, and that you do all things to the best of your ability. Each one of you has a talent and I encourage you to use it for the good. I hope you realize how fortunate you are to attend a school where teachers care about YOU.

It is an honor to serve the students, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders in the Saks community. Each day it is a delight to interact with great students who are enthusiastic about learning. It is my goal as an administrator to effectively meet the academic, social, and physical needs of all students. As I look back over the past seven years, I have no regrets as an educator. Saks Middle School students are making academic gains, experiencing new technological advances, participating in hands on learning, and building relationships for eternity. These students are the next generation of leaders that will be well equipped to make educated decisions, and live well in society. I believe that there are two choices in life: You can dissolve into the mainstream or you can be distinct. To be distinct you must be different.
