1.      Show Power point presentation on “The Road to the Constitution”.(LASTING)

2.      Have students look through the textbook and write down problems The Articles of Confederation had caused for the national government.

3.      Divide class into groups of 4. Using information from the power point and textbook have the students write a newspaper article about the convention.

4.      Read articles out loud.  Have class vote

      for best news article and have some kind

      of special reward for the winning group.
