Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Alabama Driver's License
  • 2 yr. Tech College HVAC Degree OR 4+ years of experience in the HVAC field AND/OR 4+ years experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair
  • EPA Certification in purchasing and use of refrigerant gases
  • Good attendance and work record in previous employment
  • Record of strong moral character
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Ability to repair, maintain, and install all types of HVAC equipment
  • Ability to trouble shoot electrical systems for all types of HVAC equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Work in other areas of maintenance assigned by Supervisor
  • Work on commercial kitchen equipment
  • Maintain a positive attitude throughout the day
  • Follow all policies and procedures of the Calhoun County Board of Education and Maintenance Department
  • Willing to work overtime if needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Length of Contract/Terms:
240 days / 8 hours daily
