Williams First Baptist, Webster’s Chapel Congregational Methodist, Cedar Springs Baptist, New Liberty Churches were all recognized for their role in the Blessing Bag ministry. The Blessing Bag ministry provided 75 food/snack weekly to students needing assistance at Pleasant Valley.

Mrs. Parker is the Calhoun County School’s nominee for the College and Career-Readiness Campaign launch by ACT. If selected to be the Alabama representative, she will compete with students from other states.

We are so proud of Sarah Amberson, Brandi Barnes, Jill Brookes, Jessica Cobb, Monique Carlisle Grier, Krystal McDaniel, Brooke McFry, Shasta McFry, and Gina Whiting who, in their articles, addressed a variety of academic challenges facing students with ADHD and other special needs in the classroom, such as listening skills, homework completion, social skills, science, math, and reading.
