Becky always finds a way to meet the needs of every life that she touches; whether it is money to repair a car, medicine for a child, referrals to outside agencies, a place to sleep at night or even sometimes just a cup of coffee. Calhoun County School System is blessed to have Becky Cox as an employee!!! |

Mr. Rainwater, commonly referred to as PawPaw is hardworking, dedicated, and positive. He serves to influence lives at White Plains Middle School on a daily basis. He mentors students, takes care of faculty and staff members, and somehow manages to keep the school exceptionally clean. He has a smile and a kind word to offer everyone he comes in contact with. She was a graduate from Alexandria High School and we are blessed that she chose to become an educator to give back to our students! Mrs. Davis is dedicated to providing her students with a solid foundation that will support them throughout their educational career as well as life experiences. Mrs. Davis teaches the whole child and uses her time in the classroom to reach all students. Mrs. Daviss outstanding work ethic, dedication, and passion in the classroom shine bright daily. Mike Holtman is a dependable worker that you can call on at any time. Over the years, he has done his best to fix whatever he is working on right the first time. If he comes across something that is not a work order, he will fix it or
let someone else know of the problem so they can fix it. The safety of the children and teachers are ever important to him. Simply put, no one works harder for the school system than Mike Holtman. |

For over 2 1/2 decades Ms. Nance has worked without the expectation of compensation. She has worked out of her love for her alma mater and community. In return of her service as a volunteer we have received so much more as a school, community, and most importantly a people. Her smiles and endless willingness to help others around her is instrumental in inspiring our staff and students to give of ourselves to the betterment of our school, community, and of each other. Susie means as much to Walter Wellborn High School and the Wellborn community as does Walter Wellborn High School and community to her. Susie is a Walter Wellborn Panther who continuously and unselfishly gives of herself daily.

Her career began at Saks Middle School where she worked as the school secretary for 20 years. She then transferred to secretary for the Central Office where she has been for 15 years. She is a dedicated, conscientious, and fun loving person! She performs her job with a servant's heart; always willing to go out of her way to help others! Mrs. Haynes is a valuable asset to Calhoun County Schools and is most deserving of this award! |

Not only is Mrs. Smitherman a tremendous asset for our students, but also a valuable resource for our parents and faculty. Her generous spirit motivates the students in her classes to perform many hours of community service. She also motivates her students to learn as much as they can about a variety of opportunities in the medical profession. She is continually working to establish new clinical sites for her students. Mrs. Young is dedicated in helping her students succeed. |
