Meet the Administration

Assistant Principal: Mrs. Crump

Hello my name is Tesha Crump. I am the new assistant principal here at Alexandria Elementary. I am so excited to be a part of the Alexandria family.

I am a native of Kenner, Louisiana. I am a graduate of Jacksonville State University. This is where I met my wonderful husband Ray Crump. Ray is currently Coaching at Lincoln High school. We have been married for 15 years and we have two wonderful children. My son Blayde is 12 years old and is a very active little boy who loves to play sports. My daughter Shelby is 10 years old and loves to play dress up, cook and play outside.

I look forward to meeting each of you and also getting to know each and every child in the school. Again I thank you for accepting me into your community.

Assistant Principal: Mrs. Davis

My name is Summer Davis, and I am so excited to be the new assistant principal here at Alexandria Elementary.  Previously, I taught sixth grade for five years at Saks Middle School.  My husband, daughter, and I live in Weaver. My husband, Josh Davis, is a graduate of Ohatchee High School, and McKenley our daughter is 20 months old. I graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Educational Administration.  We enjoy serving the Lord together at Covenant Life Ministries in Alexandria.  There I teach and help direct the dance and drama ministries, and we are children’s ministry leaders.  I am so honored to be working here with such wonderful teachers and staff.  My goal as an educator is to encourage children to become responsible learners who meet and exceed their potential.  I am looking forward to working with you and your children in this wonderful community.

Welcome to Alexandria Elementary School!

We are planning for the Best Year Ever at AES. We have a sense of renewal and refreshing. There is an excitement in the air that is contagious. I hope that you can feel it when you come in.

We have been busy this summer with moving and reorganizing. Some teachers are moving classrooms, fifth grade is moving over, and we have finally expanded the office complex by making the office annex "official". The office annex is now the "Gathering Place" a multipurpose room for CIT/SWPT, BBSST, IEP's, Grade level meetings, data meetings, orientations, and any other need we have such as celebrations. This room also serves as the principal's office.

We have had the two projectors and screens mounted to the ceiling so that we can always have a "set up" to a computer and speakers to enhance our presentations to staff, students, and parents. They are located in the lunchroom and the library. Hopefully, this will make our presentations less hectic in setting up!

Many of our teachers have taken advantage of the technology workshops this summer. That is awesome!   AMSTI is not just science and math but the "T" stands for technology, so we will be a step ahead in effectively implementing the strategies we will learn in summer !

We will be scheduling some meetings for you in the next few weeks. I look forward to seeing you and planning for our most awesome year ever at our school.
